This was a great week! Our Workshop on Ultracold Molecules Uniwersytet Warszawski was full of exciting talks and vivid discussions! The field of ultracold molecules is blooming and more groundbreaking results can be expected soon!

Today, Michał Tomza Michał Tomza participated with Wojciech Fendler Wojciech Fendler, Paweł Boguszewski, and Dariusz Aksamit in a new scientific podcast organized by Polska Akademia Nauk and led by Justyna Dżbik-Kluge. Soon, you can hear if and why science is important for humanity.

Yesterday and today, we participate in the 3rd symposium on interactions in Toruń organized by Prof. Piotr Żuchowski Piotr Żuchowski at UMK Torun in Toruń. Our great postdocs, Dr Marcin Gronowski Marcin Gronowski and Dr Hela Ladjimi Hela Ladjimi presented results from our group!

Palestinian physicist Sufyan Tayeh was killed by an Israeli attack in Gaza. He was president of the Islamic University of Gaza, held a UNESCO chair, was ranked in the top 2% of scientists worldwide by Stanford University. With him, many others equally important human beings.

Had an amazing time at the Molecular Electronic Structure 2024 conference in Pescara, Italy! 🎤 Presented my work on the formation of cold BaAlk+ (Alk = Na, K, Rb, Cs) molecular ions and had some fantastic discussions. ! 🍕 🍝

This week, Prof. Michał Tomza is invited to speak at the 14th International Conference on Relativistic Effects in Heavy-Element Chemistry and Physics in the Netherlands. Our postdoc, Dr Hela Ladjimi Hela Ladjimi, also presents her excellent poster.
