That's as stupid as saying that the 2% aren't responsible for wealth inequality in America.

The entire economy was predicated on slavery, and every white person in America benefitted from that economy whether or not they owned slaves. So, it's not just the condoning of slavery that's evil. The institution actually was evil whether 1% or 99% of whites owned owned slaves.

Maybe the problem is you? Protests aren't about protesters 'explaining' their cause or trying to 'engage journalist.' That's not the goal. They are about attempting to promote change. So, unless journalists are change agents or the responsible principals, what's you point?
