The country has had enough of Sunak and the Conservatives limping on until the election. Glad to see the Liberal Democrats understand this and are giving MPs the chance to give us an election so we can get a new government that actually works.

CONFIRMED: John Curtice on BBC has just confirmed that Liberal Democrats will win more seats and more councils than the Conservatives at the Local Elections across England.

What’s worse is he waited until it was certain his candidate before releasing this. He is so weak.

A fantastic end of the day for Liberal Democrats with more councils and more seats won than the Conservatives.

In many parts of the country like the New Forest, if you want to remove this disastrous Conservative government and get a hard-working local MP, you need to vote Lib Dem!

New Forest and Isle of Wight with very low turnouts. The Tories have definitely benefitted from changing the voting system to first past the post.

Looks like the Conservatives have won the most votes across the New Forest in the Police and Crime Commissioner elections but the Liberal Democrats have increased our share of the vote. Turnout was only around 20%. New Forest West looks promising for the general election though.
