Grade 8s in Miss Beauchamp's class were greeted as if they were the Spanish entering Mexico. They got to try a version of Aztec hot chocolate! Traditionally the drink was made with cocoa beans, hot chili peppers and cornmeal and the Aztecs believed it gave them wisdom and power.

There's a few new Eagles flying around the nest for the next few weeks. We are lucky to have Ms. Beauchamp, Ms.Rue and Ms.Townsend completing their education degree at Eastview! If you see them around the school (or at parent teacher interviews) make sure you say hello.
