NYPD says 282 people arrested between CCNY & Columbia, 109 from Columbia and 173 at CCNY. Charges ranging from trespass to criminal mischief and burglary (burglary for those who occupied Hamilton Hall).

Campuses would rather close everything down, call in police to attack students, allow pro-genocide protesters to assault anti-genocide protesters, and give not a single damn about the “safety”of ALL its students, staff, faculty, & community members than CONSIDER divestment.

Folks likening students overtaking a private college campus building to protest genocide to folks raiding the US Capitol in an effort to OVERTHROW an election & viciously attack elected officials (they literally erected gallows on the Mall) are dangerously disingenuous.

The violence at UCLA tonight is entirely one sided, a vicious assault on students in the Palestine solidarity encampment. I am incensed.

'You're by yourself!' shouts one man from the pro-Israel mob before he and others grab an isolated protester, throw him to the ground, and start beating him.

Watching Biden and Dem party supporters peddle conspiracy theories about student protestors, outright lies offered by police, justifications for attacking students and the ongoing genocide in Gaza… truly terrible.
