Be aware & considerate of others. But, remember where your responsibility begins and ends. Personal accountability goes both ways. #SEL #ConnectRelateCreate

If a 2nd grade word problem on a standardized test is written at a 3rd or 4th grade reading level, then you aren’t testing for math, you’re testing for above grade level reading.

If there isn’t a concerted effort to improve progress, it is often hard to come by. Most educators need and want feedback to grow. Once prioritized and consistently provided, the stage is set for a culture of excellence esheninger.blogspot.com/2021/04/using-… #edchat #edutwitter

The nature of true servant leadership must be steeped in a humble & understanding spirit. When we possess the #selfawareness to first recognize our own faults & mistakes, it allows us to better recognize the ways to support & lift up those who may be struggling. #SEL #leadership

I especially appreciate strong teachers. If you respect them and give them a voice, you may just find they have great ideas & even when they challenge the process it’s not whining or a personal attack but sincere desire for the best for their students. Appreciate their passion

Many leadership frustrations are the result of conversations that didnt happen. Successful leaders move toward difficult conversations, not away. #leadership #management #LFreakquote

If there has ever been a year where teachers need to be affirmed of their work and appreciated for all they have done this is the year. And this is true of staff and school leaders too. Let this be a week of appreciation and celebration!
