In trauma recovery we can't just be kind to ourselves sometimes. Even abusers can be nice to us "sometimes." If we're gonna create a sustainable trauma recovery, we need to CONSISTENTLY talk to ourselves supportively & realistically-- to CONSISTENTLY be on our own side.
