Parted with my hard-earned $3 after seeing this book at an opp shop. I really want to know how Pa grew up to be so emotionally stunted, self-absorbed and out of touch. Plus his blazing hypocrisy over Spare. Will share snippets as I go along & will skip the many boring bits.
