In wake of Albany reports indicating lawmakers are poised to extend the 'drinks to go' provision for 5 years (it was first enacted during pandemic restrictions) to aid NY restaurants, a friend in restaurant industry just commented: 'This is not going to help me or anyone else.'

Today, there are no pro-cop rallies at state Capitol. There will be a large rally urging lawmakers & Gov. Hochul to support end to banning convicted felons from jury service.
