The Commonwealth War Graves Cemetery (pic 1) and German Military Cemetery (pics 2-4) at Cannock Chase in Staffordshire. The latter is the last resting place of 2,143 soldiers, including four Zeppelin crews shot down over England, and 2,786 soldiers who died in . Humbled.

3 December 1915: The Chronicle reports on the marriage of Stobs civilian internee Paul Biesen. Banker's clerk Biesen had arrived at Stobs in June. Some time after the ceremony, the bridegroom went one way (escorted back to Stobs obvs!), and his bride another way!

26 November 1916: The latest issue of the camp newspaper 'Stobsiade' provides a report on postal service operations. In October 1916 alone, there were 12,683 incoming packets and 38,537 letters and 42,911 outgoing letters. British officers act as censors & translators
