We now know, as a matter of objective fact, that applying Title II common carrier regulations to broadband companies only serves to cause harm. As former FCC Commissioner Ajit Pai made clear, net neutrality is “a solution that won’t work to a problem that doesn’t exist.”

Innovation and investment is critical in order to expand access to affordable internet. The only time outside of a recession during which investment in broadband decreased were the years immediately following the FCC’s decision to impose net neutrality regulations!

There is nothing “neutral” about net neutrality regulations. Expanding Title II common carrier regulations to cover broadband providers serves to protect Big Tech firms at the expense of the millions of Americans who rely on affordable, high-quality internet access.

Unfortunately, the FCC can’t help itself—last week, they just reimposed Net Neutrality, expanding government control and endangering our access to a free, fast, and fair internet.
