Major changes to SPSS book Ch 21: this was a gateway to a very unpleasant dimension for me. It's basically a complete rewrite. I expanded the theory section enormously and also included more practical advice. Growth models are gone. The main example data changed. Sage Methods
Major changes to SPSS book Ch 20: this chapter had breadth at the expense a good grounding in theory. I re-wrote the theory section, I'm really pleased with it. To make space, multinomial log reg has gone. The penalty kick example changed to include an interaction. Sage Methods
Major changes to SPSS book Ch 18: I added sections on parallel analysis (including how to conduct it) and expanded the reliability theory section. The examples are the same, but the data file changed (for reasons related to the new sections on parallel analysis). Sage Methods
Major changes to SPSS book Ch 14: rewrote/bought forward the theoretical material on interactions and simple effects. SPSS now does simple effects through dialog boxes and performs *post hoc* tests on interactions, so I expanded advice on these methods. Sage Methods
Major changes to SPSS book Ch 13 (GLM 2): I reframed the material on homogeneity of regression slopes as fitting parallel or non-parallel slopes models to clarify what assumptions we are and are not making with ANCOVA models. Expanded section on Bayesian models. Sage Methods
