Beautiful weather for the annual Central City Invitational as we have seen some great things already. Especially from Harold Senkbile in the unified events where he has been nothing short of spectacular. Even with just one shoe at times.

Mason Gorecki was a stud on the mound here today at the K. The Kernels get the 12-2 win over Crete. Blake Jensen, Barrett Fries and Conner Erickson also have multiple RBIs.

Blake Jensen is still excited and so are we. Kernels lead Crete 7-2 into the bottom of the fourth inning.

Another hot start for the Kernels as they jump out to a 3-0 lead over Crete.

Sunlight, moonlight, doesn’t matter because the Kernels keep it poppin’ day or night. Another great day for the Kern as they defeat Fairbury 15-0 and Aurora 14-1. Some great hitting performances with Jakob Ruhl and Luke Vakiner each getting into the dinger column. Blake Jensen…

Unified track and field is by far the greatest sport in our opinion. Each year we love to see these athletes and their partnering athletes make bonds and strive to be the best versions of themselves. A shoutout to all involved!
