Last weekend our Police Cadets played netball against Sahara Project Ltd. This was the 2nd annual match hosted by Preston Netball Club
Last year it was Sahara who were victorious but this year Lancs Police Cadets were victorious winning 16-6.

Last night, PC163 Pearce stopped a car in Broadgate, Preston in a poor state of repair. The driver was unable to provide evidence of insurance cover. The driver has been reported and his vehicle has been seized. Consideration will be given as to whether he should be prosecuted.

A woman from Preston has been jailed for 44 weeks and given a Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO) for a string of shoplifting offences in Preston.

Victoria Heaton, 47, of Lancaster Road North, Preston was given the CBO last week.

We arrested a man, 38, after he was found carrying weapons on Bridge Road, Ashton-on-Ribble.

Officers stopped him at 3.51am today. Three knives and a baseball bat were seized.

He was arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon and is currently in custody.
