Some light reading over breakfast - the stratigraphy of the Ronda cliffs. Lower layers of chaotic rubbly conglomerate with waterworn boulders, overlain by horizontally bedded fine-grained sediments.

Bands of Saharan dust are shown well here on the Mont Blanc du Tacul glacier in France. The main band was apparently put down in 2021.
