- We generated and characterized the first circadian clock mutant in a cnidarian in Levy Coral Lab -
Called 'comb jellies' because of the plates of giant, fused cilia that they use to swim, planktonic Ctenophora are predators of other zooplankton. These are Pleurobrachia pileus, the 'sea gooseberry', and they trail two sticky tentacles to catch their prey. ZEISS Microscopy
