City NPT have just arrested one male for a violent assault that occurred on Ouse Bridge. One of his companions was found to be wanted and was arrested for an unrelated, violent incident.

Officers from City & West NPT supported a male in mental health crisis on the city walls today. He is safe, has been given the benefit of mental health support and left in the care of his family.

The public were invited to speak to the city centre team this afternoon when officers set up a mobile office on Rosemary Court off Walmgate. It was great to chat to residents and also great, to disturb the poor behaviour of a select few individuals as well!

Officers from response and York city centre neighbourhood policing team arrested two males this evening following what appears to be an unprovoked attack on a vulnerable male on Parliament Street. Both were intoxicated and highly aggressive.

Officers from York city centre NPT supported British Transport Police at York station. Officers engaged with the public on knife crime under Operation Sceptre. Op Sabre is designed to tackle issues of knives on our streets, targeting offenders, making the city a safer place.

Yesterday afternoon officers from the York city centre neighbourhood policing team responded to a report of two youths trying car doors. Two were stopped and searched, found to be in possession of a number of tools, gloves and face coverings and were arrested.

A gentleman from Hull ruined his own holiday today. He discovered that the York city centre safer neighbourhood team will not tolerate threats against staff in stores. He is considering this in a cell at Fulford road police station at the moment.
