By far the most diverse and exciting week of live music I’ve experienced in a long time. These are the moments make me the most grateful.

One of my favorite musical releases of last year was Elmiene’s (Elmiene) Marking My Time EP.

Tonight I heard it live and the talented 22 year old British R&B singer-songwriter reminded me that nowadays it’s rare to hear well written love songs like “Someday” & “Mad At Fire”.

One of the highlights of Elmiene’s (Elmiene) show at Roulette in Brooklyn was his impromptu cover of Pharrell Williams & Snoop Dogg’s Beautiful

Also his hilarious explanation to the crowd that a 22 year old can know songs released the year he was born, because he’s a music nerd
