Many of my constituents have been waiting decades for a work permit.
Expanding access to work permits is a matter of economic justice. It’s about keeping families together and keeping people safe. It's about opportunity and stability.
We again call on President Biden to take action.
TODAY: Senator Dick Durbin led a Capitol Hill Briefing with Senator Alex Padilla on the enormous economic contributions that undocumented spouses of U.S. citizens make to our communities and our economy.
