88 members and guests took part in our 'poppy day' charity scramble on Thursday 11th. We raised £456 for the charity. A very pleasing amount for a first effort. A minute's silence was respectfully observed on the stroke of 11:00; lest we forget.

Golf@is@just too easy for Mike Tompkinson at the moment. His 2nd ace in the space of 12 months. His Bar tab is suffering. Congrats Mike!

And the boys have done it 👍 a fantastic effort, 4 rounds in today’s heat was extremely testing but well worth it for the charity ‘prostate cancer’.

There are some real losers around. What mentality would you need to climb over a fence, pull up a tee marker, carry it all the way down the steps in Hubbards Hills and chuck it in the river Lud? Bet his/her mates thought it was hilarious. Thanks to Gareth Jones for finding it.
