This afternoon, Year 6 coded their Micro:bits into step counters by counting steps when shaken.

We then tested their codes by taking them up on the daily mile and seeing how many steps they had done!

Not all classrooms have four walls Lightmoor Primary gardening and the great outdoors is wonderful for teambuilding and having conversations as well as building friendships #mentalwellbeing

The group of Year 5 children who took part in the first day of their Bikeability course today had a brilliant (and safe) session!

They are all very much looking forward to the second instalment tomorrow! 😃🚲

Tomorrow (Tuesday 30th April), Reception will be completing a range of gardening tasks in the school garden and will not require full forest kit.

Wellies and old clothes/PE kit will be fine for tomorrow's activity!
