We will also take on the multinational oil companies by: 🚗 Banning fuel stations from raising the price of fuel more than once a day. 🚗 Requiring petrol stations to release price changes a day in advance. 🚗 Capping fuel price increases to no more than 5 cents a day.

A re-elected Miles Labor Government will build a new $15 million skills and training facility in Townsville that will fuel the region’s green hydrogen industry workforce - the Townsville Plumbing Industry Climate Action Centre. 🙌

Queenslanders love Labor’s 50 cent fares. We’ll make them permanent if re-elected in October.

We’re proud to be doing what matters for Queensland small businesses, including increasing our Business Basics Grant from $5,000 to $7,500. We’ve delivered over $40 million of support to small businesses through our grants, which are now at record levels.

Only two months ago, the LNP called our 50 cent fares a con job - but now they reckon they support them. We can’t risk the LNP. Only the Miles Labor Government can be relied on to make 50 cent fares permanent if elected in October.

Renters shouldn’t be played off against each other when trying to secure a home. That’s why we banned rent bidding.
