How lucky was I? To be able to sit in my front yard and have my telescope track the sun and have munches and watch the moon’s shadow gobble up the sun! And bigger surprise here in PEI. Sunny, warm and no wind! First day since October. Who would have thought that?!!

The rover then spotted Phobos eclipsing the Sun in February. The video shows the transit in real time.

March came in at 1.68°C above the 1850-1900 pre-industrial baseline, making it the 10th consecutive month at an all time recorded high, and the 9th consecutive month breaking the Paris limit of 1.5°C.

Just spent the morning calculating a potential new physics signal that I thought could be game changing... problem is that when I plugged in the numbers, it was a billion times too small to be detectable. Sigh, a billion here, a billion there, pretty soon it adds up..
