Today we attended a presentation from Ontario Dairy. We learned all about dairy farming and what it takes to be a dairy farmer. Thank you Brianne for such an informative and engaging presentation. St. Gemma School

Students recreated the human body today! We’ve been learning about the skeletal system as well as the major organs in our body. Ss worked collaboratively in placing the organs where they belonged while discussing their function and importance. St. Gemma School

We created survey questions with Tara Kroeger OCSB (she/her) this afternoon. Students began analyzing their data while engaging in rich conversations with their peers. It’s always so fun having Mrs Kroeger in our classroom! St. Gemma School

We’re getting our Tower Garden up and running! We planted gourmet lettuce and arugula this-afternoon. Our harvest will be donated to the Heron Emergency Food Centre in support of our Social Entrepreneur Project! Social Entrepreneurs at the OCSB St. Gemma School
