Looking over Wednesday's severe weather reports...what a day. Two EF-2 tornadoes have been confirmed, one in Lake Charles and the other in Slidell. Tons of damage across the state from a derecho type wind event. Then major flooding in metro #NOLA . #lawx FOX 8 New Orleans

Looks like an AT&T fiber outage is impacting a pretty big chunk of Baton Rouge this afternoon.

NWS has confirmed two tornado touchdowns in our viewing area from yesterday's severe event. An EF-1 in St. Francisville and another EF-1 in Morganza!

JUST IN: Damage surveys from NWS New Orleans find EF-1 tornadoes touched down near Morganza & just north of St. Francisville on Wednesday. The Slidell tornado has been upgraded to EF-2. #LAwx

NWS survey revealed that there was an EF1 tornado roughly 3 mi N/NW of Washington, LA yesterday with 95mph winds at 7:17am-7:19am!
