Great to talk to the IHR Britain at home and abroad since 1800 last night - a really friendly, welcoming and engaging space to present my new research. So many insightful questions on love, the politics of hospitality and state surveillance which have changed my thought process.
This Thursday is our final session of 2022/3. We will be joined by Lorenzo LeNoir presenting his work on 'Sloane Rangers and the 1980s'. The session is IN PERSON at the IHR. All very welcome, book at the link to join! history.ac.uk/events/sloane-…
Our next IHR Britain at home and abroad since 1800 seminar is online, 18 May, 5.30pm. We're really excited that Ellen Smith is speaking about her research on communication and imperial families in the late C19th and early C20th.
