Wishing Professor Paul Frost a happy retirement! Amongst many roles, Paul has served as Critical Care Clinical Director, Professor and Director of Clinical Skills at Cardiff University and also oversaw the set up of the Patient @ Risk Team.

My friend and colleague Dr Matt Morgan has written a book I think everyone would love. It’s about how understanding animals can help human medicine.

It has just been released and so is just 99p for today only. It’s a great read!

We still have a couple of spaces on our BSE Level 1 course on the 19th March. This is aimed at a level just above FUSIC Heart with basic views with colour across the valves. It's a BSE endorsed course, and is accredited for 3 BSE points.

I’ve a lot of time for FUSIC, and looking to support trainees across various modules, but can we please have access to the training requirements BEFORE trainees have to pay a fee. How will they know if it’s achievable otherwise?

It’s never nice being on the other side of things, but the experience I had at Bristol Children’s Hospital University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS FT with my little one, was one of the NHS functioning incredibly well. Thank you to all who helped - esp the receptionists, the radiographers, and Lou, the ANP.
