My friend and colleague Dr Matt Morgan has written a book I think everyone would love. It’s about how understanding animals can help human medicine.

It has just been released and so is just 99p for today only. It’s a great read!

We still have a couple of spaces on our BSE Level 1 course on the 19th March. This is aimed at a level just above FUSIC Heart with basic views with colour across the valves. It's a BSE endorsed course, and is accredited for 3 BSE points.

I'm delighted to be contributing to the course again this year. The speaker line up is full of BSE guideline writers and ex-presidents, and the course always gets exceptional feedback.

Really worthwhile for those wanting to progress to advanced echo knowledge.

I love when patients, or their relatives, let us know how they get on after they leave Intensive Care.

Seeing news like this is so so rewarding.

Thank you Kate for sharing, and congratulations on your wedding!

Really proud of my colleague Bex P-S - the first critical care echo physiologist in Wales - for winning this Intensive Care Society 💙 award. She’s utterly transformed our ability to care for critically ill patients.

I’ve a lot of time for FUSIC, and looking to support trainees across various modules, but can we please have access to the training requirements BEFORE trainees have to pay a fee. How will they know if it’s achievable otherwise?

It’s never nice being on the other side of things, but the experience I had at Bristol Children’s Hospital University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS FT with my little one, was one of the NHS functioning incredibly well. Thank you to all who helped - esp the receptionists, the radiographers, and Lou, the ANP.
