The amendment in parliament to decriminalise abortion is a step in the right direction and we support it.

Abortion is healthcare. It should be accessible and free at the point of use.

Thames Water is just one of many public utility companies being rewarded for their failure.

Making utilities publicly owned is just common sense, private companies have proven they can't be trusted to take care of them.

Treating trans people like children who don't know their own minds is about as far from standing with them as you can get.

There's no reason not to use an informed consent model for trans healthcare unless you're trying to stop people from transitioning.

£3.6bn was cut from Northern local authority budgets between 2010-2018.

Any 'pledge' to reduce regional inequality which does not reverse these cuts to Northern budgets is meaningless hot air.
