Skiddy swing bowler. Those days, the white KK ball used to do a little more. And some decent swing with the old ball in ODIs. Skiddy - Obviously, the margin for error was less for him in ODIs.

Inconsistent in Tests. More than that spell in Adelaide, I liked how he carried a

Bharath Ramaraj Absolutely right Bharath. Now that the din has died down and reality is dawning upon people, clarity will soon prevail. If the kid is strong enough to bowl 3 spells of 4 overs daily at that pace (93-95)with variations,he will undoubtedly come through. I've my doubts though.

Watched Aryton only at the fag end. I believe he won the Japan GP (rain around) in 1993.

He then went over to the favourites, Williams Renault. Aryton and Schumi were fighting for the top place in Brazil. The former crashed out. Oh! Soon that fateful day in San Marino.

Watched this monumental stand right through the night. Aus were struggling at some 73 for 3. It was Mark, who right after the lunch break, took on the Benjamins. When Walsh (and Ambrose) returned, he started playing all those audacious ramps and the occasional pull. Raced away to

Wasim Akram and Anderson have talked about how footholes in Australia can be tough on a pacer. Hamstring, knees, back...

And people here want Mayank to bowl 18-20 overs of hard length in Australia!! It is perfectly logical to say he needs to be fitter/stronger to bowl that way.

I recently saw Harshit Rana bowl 7 overs of hard length in a domestic game. The man was extremely tired when I tried to interview him. He rightly asked me - can we sit and talk?

This kind of bowling will take a lot out of the bowler.

Without swing what is Anderson?? Without bounce, McGrath was half the bowler.

Without subtle seam movement, what would have been Philander?

And without extra bounce, Mayank doesn't have a stock ball!!! That is his stock ball.

Phew! Time to put an escape.

Wrong batting position too. There is movement. There is spongy bounce. He should be playing v the older ball. When it goes soft.

No tactics. No thinking.
