The Institute is thrilled to name Dr. Stewart Weinberg the State Advocate of the Year! As the Board Chair for Berkeley Charter Education Association, Dr. Weinberg has demonstrated that he is a selfless representation of what it means to be a champion for school choice.

This week, we're spotlighting the winners from the sixth annual Awards Banquet! These individuals are constantly working to #MoveTheNeedle and make their school communities a better place, and we're thankful for the opportunity to play a part in their educational journey.

Our 2024-2025 Nathan Yon Institute Teacher of the Year is Ms. M.E. Farmer, a middle school science teacher from American Leadership Academy Lexington! The Institute and ALA are honored to have her represent the Institute at the district and state level.

As you can see, the dedication and care that our teachers show for their children is limitless and deserves to be celebrated. We look forward to putting a spotlight on our Teacher of the Year finalists, along with many more incredible nominees, at the Banquet tomorrow!
