We recently celebrated Earth Night 2024 with the Environmental League of Massachusetts for the Environmental Leadership Awards! UML was proud to support Elizabeth Turnbull Henry, a Rist Institute Advisory Board member. Our team members celebrated alongside Vanna Howard, a Lowell representative!

Today at the Vatican's climate summit, I announced the Massachusetts Climate Careers Fund – a first of its kind social impact fund at Social Finance that will grow a skilled, diverse clean energy workforce to help us meet our climate goals.

We need 34,000 works to meet our ambitious climate goals in 2030. The Climate Careers Fund adds philanthropic resources to public funding for education and workforce training, providing no-cost loans to students working toward careers in high-demand industries.

ELM is proud to have convened 81 institutions supporting the crucial #ClimateTech priorities in the 2024 #MassLeads Act. We must attract private capital to MA, amplify innovation & build an inclusive #GreenWorkforce .
