Deployed the last radiotags of the season today. This lovely fluff-ball stayed asleep while we put on her tag (using glue designed for attaching human stoma bags). We will be tracking where she goes to feed over the next 5-6 weeks until the tag drops off 🦇 💤 Wildlife Technology Problems

📢The results are in... Alcathoe bat confirmed in Herefordshire by Ecotype Genetics! The bat was caught whilst searching for Barbastelles for @Kezomalley's PhD. Alcathoe breeds in the southeast of England and Yorkshire, but with increasing records, where will we find them next?
