This weekend, we completed the recording of all the Composeher repertoire with The GSA Choir. I am sure it will be amazing and, as soon as it is mixed and produced, a copy will be winging its way to Petroc Trelawny and BBC Radio 3!
Join us at the UEL Learning and Teaching Symposium on 18/01. Great keynote speakers: Rob Nash, Sally Brown and Kay Sambell, plus a wonderful selection of talks. Free registration uel.libcal.com/event/4119812 Uni of East London Dr Matthew J. Williamson 🏳️🌈🎼🚴🏻♂️ 📷 UEL CELT
Oh, Petroc Trelawny, you’re making my day! Sibelius 5 - the most sublime music ever written (I think) to accompany my last commute to the office for 2023
Once again BBC Strictly ✨ way, way ahead of all the worlds Classical Ballet companies in gay representation - and this on prime time Sunday night TV! Bravo Strictly!! Jason Gilkison VITO COPPOLA Nikita Kuzmin BalletcoForum
Philippa_Perry I appreciate the effort to correct what you said, however, self-diagnosis is valid, either to get TO a formal diagnosis, or in the absence of one (because it's so hard to be seen currently).
Also if disabled people choose to centre their disability we have every right to.
Extraordinarily powerful and beautiful words from Gerda Stevenson in this poem, ‘The Alphabet of Jasmine’. The text was set as the middle movement of Dee Isaacs’ choral triptych of the same name, as part of Composeher. Gerda wrote the lyrics for the outer movements too. ❤️🎶
We won!
It’s been a successful evening for The GSA Choir and Composeher, as we have been selected as winners of the Best Project With A Focus On New Music category at the Making Music UK Awards 2023.
Thank you to Making Music for this wonderful recognition!
