We would like to express our deepest condolences to the family, friends, and colleagues of fallen Chicago Police Officer Luis Huesca who was tragically murdered on his way home this past Sunday morning. Officer Huesca served w for 6 years and today is his birthday.

Today, our officers paid their respects to DeKalb County Sheriff’s Deputy Christina Musil as her family, colleagues, loved ones, laid her to rest. Deputy Musil made the ultimate sacrifice serving her community. Our hearts are heavy, but we will take it from here sister 🖤💙🖤

DPD’s extra DUI enforcement from March 8-18, 2024 during the St. Patrick’s Day weekend celebration has concluded. The extra DUI enforcement resulted in 25 traffic stops, 11 citations & 1 traffic arrest. DPD would like to remind the motoring public to #DriveSoberOrGetPulledOver
