From farm to fork: Five Acre Community Farm has been recognised for its efforts in helping grow a greener, biodiversity-based food movement in Coventry and Warwickshire in the UK.

As part of the UKRI funded peat-free organic growing media project ,CAWR researchers travelled to Delfland Nurseries to test some novel blends of materials using commercial scale equipment. Lettuces grown in the blocks will be planted on land managed by Riverford Organic Farmers.

World Water Day was on Friday the 22nd of March, 2024’s theme was ‘Water for Peace’. CAWR used a mandala pattern provided by UN-Water to create a display in our entrance. UN-Water then shared a photo of our display in their online gallery.
