GRIN AND BEAR IT IN NORFOLK- The year was 1865 & governess Maisie Millard was attacked on the streets of Norwich by a polar bear who had escaped from a nearby private menagerie. She remains to this day the only person to be mauled to death by a polar bear in the whole of Norfolk
