I know this is kinda apples and oranges, but a committee added $300 million in AIDEA bonding authority to a bill and there wasn’t even an opportunity for public comment. Yet this, 50% less funds, consumes half the session and goes down despite massive public outcry. Priorities?

With just under 9 inches of #snow Monday, Anchorage, AK is now less than an inch from their snowiest Nov. since 1952, about 3x their average Nov. snowfall.

They're also likely to punch into the top 5 snowiest months all time. #4 on that list was last Dec. #akwx

Credit where credit is due: Northern Lights just got graded and it’s in great shape (at least on the east side of the New Seward; haven’t ventured further). Debarr, Bragaw not terrific but also not as bad as some routes I’ve seen. Tons of people stuck on neighborhood streets.

How things are at 11 a.m. on my street: A guy got stuck coming through the intersection. I helped him shovel out, but he needed more runway, so marched down the street to his house for his snowblower. Even that didn’t work so he’s now making a spot to park in by the curb. #akwx
