Why does Azov - the first unit in the Ukrainian army to implement Western military standards- STILL not receive Western weapons? Thanks to western journalists who dutifully helped the Kremlin misportray these Ukrainian patriots as 'nazis'.

I am inclined to agree that the latest $61B package will be the last one from the United States that we will see in 2024. I also agree with the basic implication that Europe will need to step up some more. Indeed, U.S. aid to Ukraine has already bought plenty of time for Europe.

21 years ago, Fuhrer Putin personally signed the recognition of the 1991 borders of Ukraine, including Crimea and Donbass,
the Treaty is in force, a copy of the text and signature is kept at the UN,
in 2014 Russia violated the Treaty,
see Medvedchuk’s submissive look at Putin

Twenty years ago on this day, April 23, 2004, Presidents of Ukraine and Russia celebrated signing of the Russia-Ukraine Border Treaty. When Putin's says that he has not, personally, signed treaties with 1991 borders with Crimea as a part of Ukraine, he is simply lying.

Russian disinformation has found a home in the American right. Putin sure pulled off an amazing covert op, and he co-opted the (R) party in the process 👇

I have a much better understanding of the 1930s nowadays than I did before 2022 despite however many books I might have read back then.

Lindsey Graham in the U.S. Senate going after the isolationists in his party with a history lesson: a full-on comparison between the isolationists of the 1930s and those who, today, would refuse assistance to Ukraine and Israel.

Interesting...

Wonder if this influenced his student Aristotle's thoughts on 'natural slaves' vs those who (presumably like Plato) were enslaved by force, and subject to an unjust condition

Airbaltic ir finanšu piramīda. Bez regulāras finanšu injekcijas no valsts AB nespēj dzīvot. Iepriekšējā injekcijā AB apgalvoja, ka valsts atgūs naudu pie akciju kotācijas. Tagad kotētās akcijas nopirks valsts. Vienkārši tas jāatzīst, nevis jātaisa 39 eiro lidojumi uz Liepāju.

Hearing about the Russian opposition exposing Putin's regime corruption always reminds me of SS-Sturmbannführer Georg Konrad Morgen, who also wanted the system to be more effective.

The 1968ers in Europe had no discernible goals except stanning for Che Guevara and Mao Zedong and (somehow) overthrowing democracy and capitalism, so I think it’s fair to say that they were in the wrong.
