In the light of the Australian Telegraph publishing news Michael Masi signed an NDA to not discuss his decisions in Abu Dhabi '21, it is rather clear and did not want him publicly revealing whom he talked to or what orders were received during those last laps. xed

For those who may not be aware, a non-disclosure agreement (or NDA) is not typically signed to shield employees from unwanted media attention et al, but rather to protect company's secrets by restricting signees from revealing any information that was disclosed to them.

It wouldn't surprise me if Masi had a big pay out before being let go too, in order to prevent him from breaking the NDA and speaking out about what exactly happened. So much for transparency FIA has promised us.
