It do be like that but many protocols are heads down building. Stryke (Formerly Dopex) will change the way how users interact with options, unshETH will shape decentralized LSD landscape. There is Pendle , Jones DAO, @traderjoe_xyz and many others as well.

Amazing to see Galxe supporting LayerZero integrations with awesome LST projects like unshETH Lybra Finance and Gravita Protocol. Our OFT standard allows for projects like these to seamlessly integrate their LSTs across any chain in the LayerZero network!
