It was a campaign speech, yes.

President Biden showed he can be as angry & vibrant as Mr. Trump, but he can also have fun poking at Republicans while speaking to the concerns of average people.

If he can do that under the Trump assault that's coming, that's how he can win.

I’ve been watching these addresses for almost 30 years, since I was maybe 7-8 years old. & y’all, this address was good! He was smart, quick, funny, & BOLD. Did I disagree with some of it? Yes. But damn, he came ready. #sotu

Was I yelling at some of the things Biden was saying? Yes, I always do. Was I also laughing at how quick witted Biden still is? Also yes. Is he old? Yes, but he’s still got it. Biden is & was the moderate, bi partisan politician he’s always been.

Watching the #sotu has me even more giddy than usual cuz a few weeks ago I got to visit the House Chamber TWICE! Once it was empty & I got to walk down the same aisle #POTUS walks down & the 2nd time it was during a house vote. That chamber is wayyy smaller in person than on tv.

So President Biden Joe Biden starts his #SOTU speech saying “Gorbachev, tear down that wall” AS he’s still providing more funding for the border wall? Make it make sense!

We coulda had this powerhouse as our nominee to fight Ted Cruz in November. If our candidates don’t have at least this much fight in them, what are they even doing?!
