11241. #Room222 "No Island is a Island" - The student of the week is an overworked migrant worker who refuses to get on welfare so that he can finish school. It's a little more melodramatic than most episodes, but here it works. (B)

11242. #StuckintheMiddle "Stuck with No Rules" - A nice idea for a bottle episode, one where the parents leave the kids alone for a night. A decent Home Alone scenario times 7 with some decent twists. (C+)

Watching old Pokemon episodes and like, how dumb are Ash & his friends that he can never tell that they’re talking to team Rocket when all they do is put on a mustache or whatever. Like, come on!

Tuesday night March 23rd, 1976: what would you watch?

11243. #1600Penn So You Don't Want to Dance" - This show is kind of growing on me, even Josh Gad's character (though I fast forward through some of his cringe scenes). Stacey Keach rocks as a old racist Senator not at all based on Strom Thurmond. (B-)

One of the biggest shocks of my entire life was that this didn't suck and the episode I saw was actually kinda good.

11244. #1600Penn "Meet the Parent" - Chekov's Hapsburg Empire China set. In the pilot I noted that the younger kids on this show were unneeded? They haven't appeared in 2 episodes. Go figure. Another great guest star in this, Rene Auberjonois as a protocol expert. (B-)

11245. #MrSunshine "Employee of the Year" - Almost every joke in this ep, every premise falls flat. They shouldn't. They're well written (maybe not the B plot) plus the cast & crew are talented. But there's some disconnect there that I'd love to know how it happened. (C)

11246. #DontTrusttheBitchinApartment23 "The Scarlet Neighbor" - Chloe being a registered sex offender is quite appropriate, though they (for once) chicken out about the why. Still another hilarious episode. (A-)

11247. #DontTrusttheBitchinApartment23 "Whatever It Takes" - Now this is what I wanted from this show, a brain damaged Tom Lennon sleeping w/a constantly drunk Chloe, June losing her morals and a guest appearance by another right wing celebrity that's somehow hilarious. (A-)

11248. #SonofZorn "Return to Orange County" - Every once & awhile FOX decides that it's Adult Swim w/a higher budget. That's good & bad, as that gets you top notch talent (Jason Sudeikis kills it) & good SPX but it also means you get obligatory "edgy" jokes that don't work. (B-)

I was working there then, go figure I thought that it would be the biggest thing to happen to me that week. Smashing the ones that didn't sell a few months later was really fun btw.

11249. #CornerGas "Two Degrees of Separation" - This show is almost unreviewable. Every ep is basically the same, 4 plots, some that over lap with laughs, though none huge, throughout. No one cast member stands out from the others. It's an insanely consistent (B) show.

11250. #CornerGas "Just Brent and His Shadow" - The first rule of fondue group is not to talk about fondue group. (Huh. They made the same exact joke after I pre-wrote this, maybe I should write for Corner Gas Animated @brentbutt?) Another solid episode. (B+)
