L Bimo πŸ’šπŸŒ±πŸ¦β€β¬›πŸ The whole thing needs a judicial review- how can the land sale have included a clause for part of our park to be given away for the developer use in the 1st place? Get that swale filled in now

caroline πŸƒπŸ’šπŸƒ when Liverpool City Council put up Our Council tax by 5% we need to remember how Mr Joe Anderson lost the city hundreds of thousands in the high court and lost two times all of our cash down the pan yet again so we’ll done to Calderstones Park Forever and the citizens for taking the him on

Cargofiets Ben And social reasons - there isn't enough critical mass in a housing estate to deliver all the needs of people living there... so particularly hard hit are the young, old, sick & poor... even if you arrived there hale, healthy and well resourced, they don't support your lifecourse

Gazza Councillor Nick Small‏ πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¦ Liverpool City Council Liverpool FoE Angies Liverpool Liam Thorp Claire Hamilton Why did Liverpool planners agree to the many new homes build in Garston in recent years and then allow nearby Veolia to massively expand processing explosive & toxic VOC waste chemicals? If the plant was nearer the airport it would not be allowed - but it's OK near people’s homes

Ruth todd Harry Doyle πŸŒΉπŸ³οΈβ€πŸŒˆ ShirtandJumper Joanne kennedy Phil B-L West Derby Liberal Democrats Fields in Trust πŸ’š Mike Cunningham πŸ₯ Alder Hey πŸ’™ Exactly right. In 2019 they changed the original LCC land deal to allow for a swale area licensed to AH next to land sold by AH to step places. Agreement with step places is that AH have to supply drainage for development or they get their money back as housing can't happen.

Harry Doyle πŸŒΉπŸ³οΈβ€πŸŒˆ ShirtandJumper Joanne kennedy Phil B-L West Derby Liberal Democrats Fields in Trust πŸ’š Mike Cunningham I think you're being naive to think that Harry Doyle πŸŒΉπŸ³οΈβ€πŸŒˆ . If the swale needed to be as large as it is for the housing development, but was on the sold land there'd be no space left for houses. Someone must have sorted the swale on parkland otherwise @alderhey would have lost cash

Gordon Langshaw Harry Doyle πŸŒΉπŸ³οΈβ€πŸŒˆ Joanne kennedy Phil B-L West Derby Liberal Democrats Fields in Trust πŸ’š Mike Cunningham Suggests πŸ₯ Alder Hey πŸ’™ always knew to build anything on that side would need a new drainage solution. Original planning app sailed through with help of Labour cllrs but with caveat that drainage plans had to be submitted later. Step Places permission must be expiring soon?

andrew hubbard ShirtandJumper πŸ₯ Alder Hey πŸ’™ Joanne kennedy Liverpool City Council Liam Robinson Then we assume the Swale for necessary parkland drainage can be reconsidered. The community stance remains unchanged the housing is and was never wanted, a secret withheld from the beginningπŸ˜•πŸ˜
