I'm looking forward this aftn to working (online) with t charity Nurture UK nurtureuk. Their 3 goals in working with schools are:
1) Help all childrn's educ to include nurture.
2) Use Boxall profile to identify needs.
3) Push govt to adopt nurture.

School attendance has never returned to pre-pandemic levels. So someone thinks it’s a good idea to issue parents of children who are missing without permission even bigger fines. It’s mad! Why? Families need support not penalties & the fines in place at the moment don’t work!

When a young person is in the lower parts of the brain,they physiologically cannot learn,problem solve or navigate self-control.

We need to mediate the lower density of the brain before we tackle the problem.

Their brain is not ready yet when they are highly dysregulated.🧠🌱

The contemporary Ofsted report is 🤯

Overall rating: inadequate, poor room use for “a small number of pupils” - no abuse reported

Number of pupils affected (per Noel’s report) - 39

The DfE, under fanatical Ministerial ideology, has destroyed education in this country, creating a curriculum that is bloated, cumbersome, unnecessarily inaccessible, perverse, obtuse, irrelevant.

🗣️Matt Jessop, head teacher at Crosthwaite Church of England primary, says it’s overcrammed, lacking in modern day skills and knowledge and there’s not enough creativity.
