i went to an artist before and offered to help on their album and even executive produce it.. they tried to charge me $1,000,000 to do it.

i disagree it’s never been easier to get noticed right now. is it over saturated? it’s always going to be, always has been. with the amount of IG/Twitter pages, tiktok, etc.

and musically people are starving for good music right now.

if you are a talented artist, iron sharpens iron.

you should want to surround yourself with the best producers, the best songwriters, the best marketing team, the best stylists, etc.

good can always be better, & always expand your own knowledge.

sometimes i wonder if failed NBA players look at lebron and try to knock him down for surrounding himself with a world class team to help him keep his body in A1 shape. that must be industry planting. “bros not his own nutritionist or therapist ? PLANT” 😂

i’ve sit back and let people think i create industry plants on the daily my whole career. truth is. i’m just really good at developing artists and i love doing that, as a record label owner.. that IS my job. find artists & help. people just don’t understand it, & that’s okay.

nobody says anything in sports or acting or anywhere else when people have help with their careers and surround themselves with a great team who can get them from point A to point B, only music.

it takes a village.

that shit only exists in music, and normally the people pointing fingers at other people’s operations is from jealousy it ain’t work out for them like they wanted.

in everybody’s head they “did it themselves”

that’s always a condition of main character syndrome.

everybody has help in 1 way or another. that doesn’t take away from anyone’s legacy. just shows people are good at doing their jobs.
