Professional update: 3 weeks ago I said bye to UBC Faculty of Land and Food Systems and I’m finally a Doctor! I am excited to start a new position as a postdoc with SP Institute in July, after a well deserved break that will include a visit (finally) to the Brazilian Amazon!
We had our last lab meeting (few missing) at University of British Columbia before 3 of us move to University of Alberta; 3 students defending thesis this week, and 4 post-docs working from my lab at UBC Faculty of Land and Food Systems for next 2 years.
A bittersweet moment, I am going to miss them. Thank you all for being part of @CBL_UBC.
