After a few months of very intensive work, the SueClydesdale legal team has now completed its detailed review and analysis of the 14,000 or so documents disclosed by the defendant banks between March and May this year. They are now engaging with the banks' respective lawyers.

Today in RGL’s sueClydesdale group action, the legal team begin their closing submissions in the High Court. We expect the final day of the public hearing to be Wednesday 20th. #SueClydesdale

You can still attend the trial in RGL’s sueClydesdale group action if you wish, but note that the Court will only be sitting on the following dates: 14th, 15th, 18th, 19th and 20th December. #SueClydesdale

Although further work is necessary, the positive news is that the SueClydesdale legal team considers that the documents disclosed by the banks do not appear to support the position they have adopted in their formal Defences in the litigation.

The High Court hearing of RGL’s four sueClydesdale test cases concluded on 20 December 2023. The Judge will now take the time he needs to write and deliver his judgement. We will provide further details on the timing of this, as and when we receive it.
