When Cyril Ramaphosa took over the presidency from Jacob Zuma, he said SA had excess power. Meaning SA had more than enough electricity.

A year later incurred R21bn in loses. And is back again. I guess it doesn't matter though, he is fighting state capture.

Why mobile telco’s are not great businesses.

Vodacom $JSEVOD

Cash gen from ops: R21bn

FCF -181m.

Capex and debt sucks up all the FCF...

And then you have companies like $KARO who are built on top of the network and capture more FCF than the network.

The jab on Phakamani Hadebe is hilarious.

Indeed he failed.

Pres Cyril Ramaphosa 🇿🇦 & the ThumaMina Brigades have nothing to show at Eskom Hld SOC Ltd since they took over.

Its been disaster after another culminating in a R21bn loss & growing.

Again, no amount of bailout will save it

The ANC NEC says Pravin Gordhan has failed and they want to assess his track record as Minister of SoEs,

Taking to account that under Him;

*Eskom Made a R21bn Loss
*SAA placed on business rescue without explanations
*Denel unable to pay salaries etc

NEC against SoEs Privatized

So White Businesses are Subsidized by the State through the Public Procurement Budget of R920bn & Public Investment Corporation of R2tn. Woolworths got R5bn, Steinhoff R21bn, Edgars R3bn etc BUT Blacks must build businesses and not depend on the State for Subsidies. Fucking hell

Times LIVE I almost thought Times LIVE made a mistake. R21,000,000,000! R21Bn! Just where did this money go when women and children are still in the pits with GBV? Cops are still very poorly trained?

So what’s the damage? Steinhoff loses R134bn in market cap, STAR R22bn, Kap R21bn and PSG R6bn. Total R183bn. Watch out for grumpy old men when you walk the streets of Stellenbosch this December. One of the ugliest stories I’ve lived through after 45 years on the JSE.

What adds liquidity pressure to the Land Bank is that the majority of loans originated by Land Bank have a term that is more than 5 years, while a large portion of its Funding liabilities (amounts borrowed) are due before 5 years (with R21bn due in the next 12 months).
