🎥The first posthumous statue of Queen Elizabeth II has been unveiled in #Rutland today.

A special ceremony took place earlier on what would have been the late monarch's 98th birthday.

Today a new statue in honour of #HerMajestyQueenElizabethII was unveiled at #OakhamRutland to mark her #98thBirthday ❤️

The tribute was made by the sculptor Hywel Brân Pratley, depicts a young Queen Elizabeth in royal attire, with the faithful corgi companions

Oakham was the first place since the late Queen Elizabeth II's death, to have a statue unveiled earlier today.

By the Lord Lieutenant, alongside also few corgis, as they were depicted within, this statue.
