How do you explain “once saved, always saved” in light of these two passages in Hebrews?

“Wavering” implies becoming weaker and sometimes leads to leaving the very faith God says is required to be given eternal life.

If someone leaves the faith, what Jesus did no longer remains

Faith is two-fold.

Belief+Action (Not working for salvation)

Belief LEADS to Action (Working IN Service/Obedience)

Without Action, Belief is Dead.

Abraham’s FAITH was COMPLETED BY his ACTIONS.

If Abraham sat there when God told him to go, his faith would’ve been worthless.

Here’s a beautiful attribute of : LOVE.

Jesus saves us from:
-sin
-death
-hell

Not only that but in we’re positioned as forever sons of God and given:
-life
-a new body
-inheritance

God is so amazing!

Three words keep coming to kind today: “Then Jesus wept.” -John 11:35 NLT

He went through humiliation, ridicule, beatings, and torture to save our soul.

I never want Jesus to look down and think “We’re they worth it?”

Be careful asking God to use you if you don’t really mean it.

Jeremiah had to smash jars in front of people.

Ezekiel had to bake bread over poop.

Isaiah had to walk around naked for three years.

Jonah was called and ran away.

You know how that turned out.

Mean it. ✝️👍✝️

Living This Christian Life You can’t, explain once saved always saved as that’s not how it works. I’m glad you posted them but there are others as well that point to it. I get we are under grace and once you get saved all your sins past present and future if you would are gone, but that does not give you…

Imagine if after God told Abraham to get up and go…

Abraham just sat back down believing in Who just spoke to him yet did not DO what he was told.

Would Abraham still have been counted as righteous?

Faith is having confidence in the evidence God has revealed of Himself and trusting He will give us what He promised IN CHRIST.

PROOF (Completion) of our faith IS ACTION as a result of the evidence of God we see and the trust we can put in Him.

Action competes our faith.

I’ve been watching Christian debates on YouTube on a variety of topics, reading tweets from people claiming to be Christians, and even had a couple Twitter conversations with them…

I tried searching the Scriptures to see where arrogance and rudeness are fruits of the Spirit…😳

You WEREN’T made to serve God like some robotic slave simply to do His bidding.

You WERE made to be a recipient of His love.

God Loves

You Receive His Love

You Understand How He Loves
⬇️
You Love Like He Loves
⬇️
You Serve How He Served

Agree, say Amen

Jesus was willing to give up the very life He had in Himself, lay it down in something He was never meant to know: death, all so we could be forgiven for doing what know is wrong: sin.

Phil 2:5-8
John 1:4
John 1:1-2
2 Cor 5:21
Romans 5:8
James 4:17
1 John 1:9

Why?

Out of LOVE!
